The purpose of the job is to build a strong relationship with prospects and customers in order to achieve budgeted sales revenues for the assigned territory. The Account Manager will cover different sectors in the retail. The prospects and customers are medium and big retail chain. You must be a hunter with the capability to manage the full sales cycle from the first meeting to the closing of the contract. You will be supported directly by the sales director.
1. Achieve sales results
Develop the prospection of new accounts and the coverage of customers.
2. Be the 'market expert' within your territory
After some months, you must have a good level of knowledge of your sectors and their needs.
3. Develop new business opportunities
Develop with the sales director the marketing campaigns within your sectors.
- Dutch speaking and writing is mandatory
- Some experience in marketing and retail is a must
- A basic knowledge of CRM package
